Meadow Greens Country Club Nestled in the rolling foothills, just south of the North Carolina/Virginia border, is Meadow Greens Country Club. Founded in 1938, Meadow Greens was originally a nine-hole golf course with holes located on the north side of Stadium Drive. In 1958, the club added eighteen holes on the south side of Stadium Drive that were designed and built by Ellis Maples and the original nine holes were closed.
